  • WSU has forced 13 turnovers this season leading to 43 points.

  • WSU quarterback Matt Kegel completed his first 11 passes of the afternoon, racking up 127 yards on those attempts.

  • Washington State has a quarterback sack in 21 straight games dating back to the 2001 season.

  • Kegel set career highs in attempts, completions, and yards going for 29-42 and 346 yards.

  • Devard Darling tied a career high hauling in nine catches...those receptions went for 113 yards.

  • Washington State extended its scoring streak to 218 games overall and 174 games in Martin Stadium.

  • Cody Boyd blocked his third kick of the season on a New Mexico point-after attempt in the second quarter...Boyd also batted down two field goal attempts in the Cougars' season-opening win against Idaho....defensive tackle Steve Cook blocked a point-after attempt last week against Colorado, making it three of four games this season that WSU has blocked a kick.

  • New Mexico led Washington State 13-12 at halftime, marking the first time the Cougars have trailed at halftime in a non-conference game (excluding bowl games) since going into the half down 6-0 against Utah Sept. 4, 1999. That streak spanned 14 games. It was also the first time in eight regular season contests that WSU trailed at the break...Oregon was the last team to lead at the intermission against Washington State at home, ending a run of nine games.

  • D.D. Acholonu recorded a sack to move into fifth by himself on the Cougars' career list with 18.5.
  • Acholonu's eight sack yards moved him into sixth on the WSU career list...his two tackles for loss move him into 10th at WSU with 27.

  • Isaac Brown registered seven sack yards to move into fourth on WSU's career list with 133.
  • Brown's two tackles for loss give him 27.5 in his career (ninth at WSU).

  • Both Brown and Acholonu notched 11 tackles for loss yards and each have 146 in their careers to tie for seventh at WSU.
