PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University football fans on the west side of the state will have two opportunities to receive a preview of the 2007 season at Sterling Savings Bank "A Night With Cougar Football" events, a season preview celebration dinner and auction.

The Washington State football coaching staff, including head coach Bill Doba, will be on hand for each event. The program includes highlights of last season, a preview of the 2007 campaign, and a look at the 2007 Cougar recruiting class just days after letter of intent signing day.

The first event will be Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Skookum Creek Events Center, adjacent to the Little Creek Casino and Resort. The events center is just minutes north of Olympia on Highway 101. Social hour and a silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. Legendary Cougar broadcaster Bob Robertson will serve as master of ceremonies. Tickets for the event are $40 for WSU Athletic Foundation members and $50 for non-athletic foundation members.

The football caravan moves north the following evening (Feb. 9) to the Bellevue Hilton in Bellevue, Wash. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction; dinner is at 7 p.m. Tickets for the event are $65 for WSU Athletic Foundation members and $75 for non-athletic foundation members.

Attendees at both events will have the opportunity to bid on Cougar auction items to raise money to support the WSU Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund. All net proceeds from the event go to support WSU student-athlete scholarships.

Individuals who are not an Athletic Foundation member can become a member when making their reservations ($100 minimum annual contribution to support the WSU Athletic Scholarship Fund).
