Tricia Lamb Leaves Women's Basketball Team

PULLMAN, Wash.- Junior guard Tricia Lamb (Endicott, Wash.) announced, Tuesday, she is leaving the Washington State women's basketball team.

"I want to thank WSU for the opportunity to play basketball and receive an education," Lamb said. "I am leaving the team for personal reasons. I will be finishing my junior year academically."

WSU Head Coach Jenny Przekwas stated, "We are sorry to see Tricia go. She has been an integral part of the women's basketball program for two and a half years and her loss will be felt. We (the Cougar players and coaches) wish Tricia the best of luck in the future."

WSU opens its conference season, Friday at USC at 7 p.m.

"The Cougar women's basketball team is excited and ready to move forward into Pac-10 play this weekend," Przekwas said.
