LONG BEACH, Calif. - Washington State senior Tiara Pittman was named to the Team of the Week for her performance against Arizona State and Arizona.

A forward from Spokane, Wash., Pittman netted two goals, including a game-winner, to lead the Cougars (12-6-3, 6-3-1 Pac-12) to a pair of victories.

At Arizona State, Friday, Washington State fell behind a goal in the second half after neither team found the net in the first 45 minutes.

Just 1:17 after the Sun Devils scored, Pittman tied the match with a brilliant individual effort. She beat two defenders off the dribble before firing a shot off her left foot to the far left post. The Cougars went on to win 2-1 in double overtime.

Against the Wildcats, Sunday, the senior notched the first goal of the match when she hammered home a rebound of her own shot in the 22nd minute. Washington State captured a 2-0 victory for his third-straight win against Arizona in Tucson.

Pittman has four goals this season, including the one game-winner.

Washington State closes its regular season at Washington, Thursday in the NSCAA Match of the Week on Fox Soccer Channel at 7 p.m.
