PULLMAN, Wash. -- The 2010 Washington State University women's track and field team is one of the 151 best scholastic women's teams in NCAA Division I according to the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

With a grade point average of 3.21, this is the sixth time the Cougar women's track and field team has been nationally honored with a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award. To be considered for the honor, a team must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship Meet and have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA.

The Cougar women's cross country team also earned the USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors last fall, the fourth such honor for that team.
