PULLMAN, Wash. - Now on display at Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections in the Terrell Library at the Washington State University campus is - Win the Victory: The Early Days of Football at Washington State University.

Win the Victory shares stories from the development of the Washington State football program in the 1890s through to its second Rose Bowl appearance in 1931. The centerpiece of the exhibit is a series of digitized films, including the 1916 Rose Bowl game and coaching films from Washington State / Washington football games ranging from 1929 to 1978.

The displays also include photographs and telegraphs from that first 1916 Rose Bowl, a section on the evolution of the Washington State athletic colors, names, and mascots, notes from the purchase of the team's first uniforms, game programs from across the decades, and photographs of games and squads dating back to 1895.

The exhibit is open during MASC's regular hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30-4:30). During home football games, MASC will open on Saturdays four hours before kickoff.
