PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University sophomore kicker Nico Grasu has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance against Washington, it was announced by Commissioner Tom Hansen Monday.
Grasu kicked three field goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime, to clinch the Cougars' come-from-behind, 16-13 victory over the Huskies. Grasu then hit a 19-yarder in the first overtime before clinching the victory with a 37-yard field goal, capping a perfect 3-for-3 afternoon.
