THIS WEEK: The No. 66 Washington State tennis team will compete in their first dual match of the spring season when they take on No. 25 Brigham Young Friday, January 21...BYU ended the 2004 season ranked No. 21...match time is set for 11 a.m. MST/10 a.m. PST.

WSU HEAD COACH Lisa Hart ON THIS WEEKEND: "We are looking forward to competing against outside competition and seeing how we compare with one of the best teams in the nation. We had an exceptionally competitive and tough match with them last season and we are eager to see how much growth we have made in the past year."

COUGARS CLIMB ALL-TIME LIST: Senior Nora Gaal placed herself tied for ninth on the all-time career singles victories list with 60...fellow senior Chris Martinez sits at 59 career singles victories.

FALL TOURNAMENT PLAY: The Cougars recorded 30 singles wins and eight doubles victories in fall tournaments this season.

UP NEXT: Washington State will participate in back-to-back home matches January 29...at 9 a.m. the Cougars will face Idaho and at 4:30 p.m. WSU will take on Eastern Washington.
