PULLMAN, Wash. - - - A pair of high school seniors and one junior college transfer have been added to Washington State University's upcoming recruiting class, head coach Mike Price said today.

Price has received national letters of intent from high schoolers LaVell Anderson, San Diego, Calif., and Karl Paymah, Culver City, Calif., and Hartnell College transfer Tyrone Ward, Salinas, Calif. Ward and Paymah are both defensive backs, Anderson a running back.

"These three letters of intent are certainly worth waiting for," Price said. "Each player had extenuating circumstances as to why it took this long to receive their signed letters. We have been recruiting Karl Paymah since last fall. He did his visit in December and has been one of our top recruits. I expect both Paymah and Anderson to also participate in track, since both are outstanding sprinters.
