Women's Golf Finishes Second Round at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

SAMMAMISH, Wash. - The Washington State women's golf team concluded its second round of competition in 13th place at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, Tuesday.

Although they improved their score from the first day of competition, the women dropped one position with their second round total of 304 at the par-72, 6,127-yard Sahalee Country Club. After two rounds of play, the women carded a total score of 622 and are only eight strokes from cracking the top 10.

The Cougar women are led by senior Brooke Henderson who posted a two-day total of 152. She sits in a tie for 24th place heading into the final day of competition.

Junior Amy Eneroth sits close behind and finished only three strokes from the top 25. Eneroth fired a two-day total of 155.

Senior Tracy Broders and sophomore Diana Hong both improved from their first round scores as they finished the second day with totals of 159.

Junior Jessica Black rounds out the Cougar contingent with her 3-over par 75 which moves her total score to 162.

The Cougar women look to fare well in the final day of competition Wednesday as the tournament concludes with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
