WSU Women Golf to Travel to Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

This Week: The WSU Women's golf team will continue its fall season in Sammamish, Wash. at the 30th annual Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational held at the Sahalee Country Club Oct. 3-5. 18 holes will be played each day, with tee times set to begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. The Course: The Sahalee Country Club is a par 72 course at a distance of 6, 063 yards.

The Field: In addition to the Cougars, competing teams include BYU (103), California (16), Colorado (17), Gonzaga, Idaho, Nebraska, Oregon (34), Oregon State, San Jose State, UNLV, and host Washington (21). (Top 50 rankings).

Last Time Out: The Cougars last played on Sept. 19-20, hosting the Cougar Cup at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club. WSU finished fourth overall 911 (+47); just one stroke back from third place Idaho and nine strokes back from second place Stanford. Freshman Kristen Rue led the Cougars with a second place three-way tie with 221 (+5).

Up Next: The Cougar women will travel to Knoxville, Tenn. for the Pac 12/SEC Challenge at Holston Hills Country Club Oct 21-23.
