Cougar Pawz Membership Brochure

Greetings from the Washington State University Women's Basketball Team! We are excited to start our 2009-10 season and we know that you are, too! Here are just a few of the accomplishments the Cougar women made this past season:

• The Cougars recorded their most successful finish in Pac-10 play and the highest conference ranking in 10 years (1998-99).
• WSU posted double-digit wins for the first time since the 2000-01 season.
• The Cougars won six more games than the previous season, ranking 26th nationally and second in the Pac-10 amongst teams making the greatest turnarounds.
• WSU moved up 83 spots in the RPI from the previous season, the second-highest increase amongst Pac-10 teams, and tied for the 28th-highest jump nationally.

Looking ahead to this season, we signed another nationally-ranked recruiting class. Joining the Cougar family are point guard KiKi Moore from California, Germany's Junior National Team participant Ireti Amojo and 6-5 standout post Carly Noyes from Moses Lake, Wash. We are working extremely hard to become the nationally-competitive team that will represent you and WSU in a first-class manner. In order for us to reach our full potential, there is one key component... YOU!

We are excited to invite you to be a part of something special by joining our Cougar Pawz Club, the official support club of WSU Women's Basketball. Your membership and support helps cultivate a growing excitement for Cougar Women's Basketball and also supplements our budget in a way that will assist us in competing at the national level. Our goal this year is to have more than 1,000 Cougars join the official support group, which will help create a culture and atmosphere where the Cougs are a women's basketball household name and a staple of Cougar sports. As a member of Cougar Pawz, you will have exclusive access to practices, pre-game functions, coaches and student-athletes!

Thank you for your continued support of women's basketball, cougar athletics and WSU as a whole. Please visit our Web Site for up-to-date news, camp information and Cougar Pawz at WWW.WSUCOUGARS.COM. GO GOUGS!!
