PULLMAN - The Washington State University women's basketball team will be participating in this weekend's Lentil Festival activities, Aug. 22-23, in downtown Pullman.
The team will hold an autograph session Friday at 6 p.m. , in the Spot Shop parking lot across the bridge from Swilley's. Stop by to meet the student-athletes and shoot hoops with Butch and the women's basketball team. Individuals successful at making baskets are automatically entered in a raffle for autographed team basketballs.
Those who purchase season tickets at the booth will also be automatically entered in the raffle. New this year is a special season ticket option for general admission seating. Prices are $49 for adults and $29 for youth.
The WSU volleyball team will also be signing autographs at the booth at 7 p.m., with the women's basketball team still on hand to meet and greet fans and shoot baskets.
Saturday the women's basketball team will be serving pancakes for the Lions Club in Cougar Plaza, from 7:45-9:45 a.m.
Following the breakfast the team will march in the Lentil Festival Parade, joining the Cougar football helmet float, WSU's spirit squad, the WSU band, Butch T. Coug and the WSU soccer and volleyball teams. Come be a part of all the excitement!
