--WSU has won nine straight nonconference games in Pullman...last loss was 38-34 to Idaho in 2000.

--Cougars have dominated the series with the Vandals in the 21st century posting a 6-0 record from 2001-06 and outscoring Idaho 253-65.

--WSU is 7-0 all-time in games televised exclusively by FSN Northwest.

--Washington State's 637 yards of offense is the sixth highest single-game total in school history....The 344 rushing yards by the Cougars were the most since 373 against Illinois in the 1988 season opener.

--With Alex Brink as a starter (last 18 games, including today), the Cougars have scored on their opening drive six times, all touchdowns.

--Chris Jordan's three-touchdown day marked his first multi-score game since Oct. 18, 2003, at Stanford (freshman season), when he grabbed five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns. The last time a WSU receiver had three touchdowns in a game was Jason Hill, who had six catches for 240 yards and three scores last season at California (Oct. 22, 2005).

--Jason Hill's 71-yard reception in the second quarter marked the fourth time in his career he has caught a pass for 70 yards or more (career best 80 last season at California).

--Idaho did not record its initial first down until 3:12 of the first quarter (fifth possession). It did not enter WSU territory until 1:03 left in the first period...Idaho's initial first down of the second came in the first minute of the fourth quarter.

--The last time WSU scored 35 points in a half (scored 35 in first half Saturday) occurred Sept. 27, 2003, when the Cougars scored 38 first-half points en route to a 55-16 win at No. 10 Oregon.

--The 56 points scored by the Cougars are the most since a 77-7 win over Southwestern Louisiana in Pullman, Nov. 8, 1997.

--The Cougars had three scoring drives 1:00 or less to give them 61 such drives in the last five seasons (55 touchdowns, six field goals. A dozen touchdowns against the Vandals in the last five seasons have come on drives of 1:00 or less.

--Chris Ivory's 80-yard, fourth quarter rushing touchdown ties for the 10th-longest in school history.
