THIS WEEK: Washington State will head for the sun as it takes on No. 36 Arizona Friday, April 2 and No. 50 Arizona State Saturday, April 3.

WSU HEAD COACH Lisa Hart ON THIS WEEKEND: "We are looking forward to proving ourselves on the road this weekend against two strong Pac-10 programs. We have competed better with each match and I am looking forward to a strong finish with the rest of our Pac-10 schedule."

UP NEXT: The Cougars will take their last road trip of the regular season to face UCLA and USC in California.

LAST TIME OUT: The Cougars fell to No. 12 California March 25 and also lost to No. 1 Stanford March 27...the highlight of the long weekend for the Cougars came in the No. 3 singles slot in the Cal match with WSU junior Nora Gaal's upset victory over No. 26 Sasha Podkolzina, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

COUGARS IN THE RANKINGS: The WSU Cougars finished last season at No. 51 in the ITA rankings and currently hold the No. 54 slot...Lorena Arias and Zsofia Fodor currently hold the No. 45 doubles position nationally.

WSU FACES TOUGH COMPETITION: The Cougars have faced nationally-ranked opponents in 13 of their 15 dual matches this season.
