SIX COUGARS ADVANCE TO NCAA INDOOR T&F CHAMPIONSHIPS Washington State University will be represented by six competitors at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 11 & 12, at the Rhonda and Frosty Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium at the McFerrin Athletic Center located on the Texas A&M campus in College Station, Texas...Cougars Joe Abbott (800m), Holly Parent (high jump) and the men's 4x400m relay squad of Greg Hornsby, Brandon Dawson, Jacob Sealby and Jeshua Anderson are set to compete...results posted at, when available.

ABOUT GILLIAM INDOOR TRACK STADIUM Texas A&M opened the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in January 2009...capacity is 5,000...Mondotrack FTX surface...six-lane 200m track can be hydraulically banked at two bends...eight independent sprint lanes...two long/triple jump sand pits...four pole vault runways...two throwing of 2009 NCAA Indoor T&F Championships.

Joined track in January after spending fall as a Redshirt linebacker on WSU football team
Ran an 400m indoor PR time of 49.05 for 15th in the 400m at MPSF

Jeshua Anderson, senior, Woodland Hills, Calif. - Anchor leg
Four-time All-American - 400m hurdles outdoors - twice national champ, once runner-up
Earned indoor All-America in 2009 at Texas A&M on 8th place 4x400m relay (3:06.74i)
