Sophomore Eneroth Named to All-Pac-10 Second Team

The selections were announced at the awards ceremony of the Pac-10 tournament.

PULLMAN, Wash. -- Sophomore Amy Eneroth was named to the All-Pac-10 Second Team Wednesday, April 25, following the completion of the women's Pacific-10 Championships held in Seattle, Wash.

Eneroth garnered the highest finish for the Cougars at the Pac-10 competition tying for 11th. She led the Cougars this season by posting nine top-25 finishes, and led the team with six top-10 finishes.

Eneroth also posted the highest scoring average for the 2006-07 season with a 74.7. She currently holds a career scoring average of 75.3. Eneroth enjoyed personal success this season when she won the Oregon Duck Invitational in a playoff round against San Francisco golfer Jessica Potter. In that same tournament Eneroth also posted the lowest score of the final tournament round.

"We are very proud of Eneroth's accomplishment," said WSU Head Golf Coach Walt Williams. "Last year she received honorable mention recognition, so we are very excited to see her move up to the second team selection this year."

Eneroth is the second women's golfer to be chosen for the All-Pac-10 Second Team as a sophomore. She joins the ranks of 2005 Washington State University graduate Kim Welch as the youngest to be selected for the honor.
