STANFORD, Calif. - The Washington State University women's golf team finished in ninth place, shooting a two-round total of 623, at the Peg Barnard Invitational hosted by Stanford, Saturday.

WSU carded a second round score of 307 on the par-71, 6,117-yard Stanford Golf Course and two Cougars finished in the top 25.

The Cougars were led by junior Jessica Black who fired a 3-over par 74 in the final round of competition to finish in a tie for 16th. Black ended with a total score of 151 and earned her sixth top 25 finish of the season. Black's performance also moved her into a tie for ninth on the all-time top 25 finishes list with 13.

Junior Amy Eneroth also cracked the top 25 and finished with a score of 152, good for a tie at 21st. Eneroth earned her ninth top 25 finish of the season and needs only one more to tie her season record of 10, set in 2007.

"We played better today but not good enough to move up," Head Coach Walt Williams said. "I'm proud of Jessica and Amy for keeping their top 25 streaks going."

Senior Brooke Henderson improved on her first round score by eight strokes to finish with 160. Senior Tracy Broders carded a 162 and sophomore Diana Hong inked a 165 to round out the Cougar contingent.

The Cougars concluded their final regular season tournament at the Peg Barnard Invite and move into post season action when they head to Palos Verdes, Calif., April 21-23, for the Pacific-10 Conference Championships.
