PULLMAN, Wash. - The home football schedule may have ended last Saturday with a 49-37 victory over Utah, but the continued growth of the Cougar Athletic Funds remains one of the top Washington State athletic department priorities.

The Cougar Athletic Fund’s (CAF) mission is uniting the passion of Washington State University fans to provide the resources to build successful students and student-athletes. “I have said this on multiple occasions since becoming the Athletic Director, we need our fan base to have skin in the game,” said Bill Moos. “Throughout the past two years our fans have answered the call, yet we have more to do. We strive to have the largest membership base among Pacific Northwest schools and we continue to move closer to that goal. I am confident the CAF’s path will continue to ascend.”

Thanks to the support of more than 6,000 members, the CAF followed up a record-setting fundraising year in 2012 with the largest annual giving total in school history for fiscal year 2013. To learn more about becoming a CAF member, visit the new CougarAthleticFund.com.

On Tuesday, Stadium Way side of the the new video board at Martin Stadium received an update to reflect this priority.
