PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University Women's Basketball Head Coach Sherri Murrell will conduct a pair of coaching clinics in October.
The first clinic is Saturday, Oct. 22 at Redmond High School in Redmond, Wash. from noon to 3 p.m. The second clinic takes place Saturday, Oct. 29 at the PEB Practice Facility on the WSU campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
High school, youth, AAU coaches and students are welcome to attend. Cost is $10 per coach for the Redmond clinic and $20 per coach (includes lunch) for the Pullman clinic. Students may attend free (excludes lunch for the Oct. 29 Pullman clinic). Topics slated to be covered are practice drills, pack defense, transition offense, and quick hitters/out of bounds plays.
Registration for the Redmond clinic is 11 a.m. A team practice takes place from noon to 2 p.m., with a question and answer session following from 2 to 3 p.m. Registration for the clinic in Pullman is 10 a.m. with practice following from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch takes place from 1 to 2 p.m., with a question and answer session following from 2 to 3 p.m.
