There are four general Sports Medicine Physicians who rotate daily within the Athletic Training Room. These Physicians are also available at Health and Wellness Service.
Our Orthopedic Surgeon comes once a week to the Athletic Training Room but is also available off site at Inland Orthopedics. Dr. Tingstad also has a Physician's Assistant, Tim Holmstrom, who works with him at Inland Orthopedics.
Our Physical Therapist is located in the Upstairs Athletic Training Room in Bohler Athletic Complex. Bob provides support and assistance in evaluation and rehabilitation to all student-athletes. He also performs functional movement screens and video analysis to help prevent injury and improve athletic performance.
Our Sports Nutritionist is housed in the weight room. Lindsay is the Coordinator of Sports Nutrition. Lindsay helps with all nutritional questions and needs, including overseeing the Cougar Athletic Training Table.
Our Psychologist is located at Health and Wellness Services. Dr. Geiger provides mental health care for student-athletes. She also is a member of the Athletic Department's Mental Health Team, which includes Team Physicians, University Counseling Services staff, Athletics Department Student Services Staff and Administrators.
