In memory of fellow Cougar Kenny Hummel Student-Athlete Wellbeing would like to remind all of our student-athletes the dangers of mixing alcohol with any kind of energy drink or any other type of stimulant.

Mixing alcohol with energy drinks is extremely risky:
  •  It allows you to drink to unsafe levels of intoxication
  •  The caffeine in energy drinks mask the depressant effect of alcohol which gives you a false sense of how intoxicated you are
  •  Energy drinks do not lower your blood alcohol level
  •  Often the caffeine level on the label of an energy drink container is inaccurate
