Food Service Worker Lead
Dining Services/Washington State University
Under direct supervision of the Food Service Associate Manager, assists cooks and/or leads employees in preparation of all food as indicated on menus and production recipes for assigned meals. Maintain safety, sanitation, and quality control standards. Provide top quality products and customer service in the front of the house platform cooking and is able to train employees in performing all of the related tasks in customer service. Cooperate in contributing to a positive and harmonious work environment.
Minimum qualifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Food Handler’s Permit within 14 days of employment AND one year of experience in quantity or institutional food preparation AND serving, which includes six months experience directing the work of others; OR equivalent education/experience. Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred qualifications: Two to five years food service experience. Multi-faceted food experience. Experience leading and training employees. General knowledge of commercial grade kitchen equipment use, safety, and maintenance.

Assistant Ticket Office Manager
Washington State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Ticket Office Manager (Program Coordinator). This position is responsible for coordinating and administering various aspects of a multi-million dollar ticket sales operation in accordance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Pac-12 Conference, Washington State University, and State of Washington bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies as approved by the Director of Ticket Operations.
Minimum qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty; OR equivalent education/experience. Two (2) years of experience coordinating operations and/or sales for events. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications: Bachelors degree. Experience within an athletic ticket office. Working knowledge of Paciolan computer software. Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience coordinating game day event sales operations and supervision of sales staff. Experience in conjunction with a major university athletic foundation with an emphasis on priority seating and ticket-based donations. Experience managing sales of tickets for postseason events.
