HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time varsity letterman in golf for the captain in 1999...named the South Puget Sound League's most valuable player in 1999 and 2000...has the all-time lowest scoring average at Enumclaw High School...set the course record at Enumclaw Golf Club in the fall of 1998 with an eleven-under par 61...finished fourth out of 192 players at the 1999 Seattle Men's Amateur...placed 10th at Trophy Lake and 15th at Boise on the American Junior Golf Association tour in 1999...placed seventh at the Washington Junior Golf Association Championship in 1998 and 18th in 1999.


Freshman (2000-2001): Played his way into the WSU lineup by finishing 11th in his collegiate debut at the Vandal Invitational...overcame a first round 81 by shooting a 73 and 71 in the final two rounds of the Husky Invitational to tie for 23rd...fired a then career-best 70 in the second round of the Wolf Pack Classic to finish in a tie for fourth...shot a 73 and again tied for fourth at the Inland Collegiate Challenge...recorded his third top 10 finish in four events at the Sacramento State Invitational with a nine-over 225...tied for 37th at the Pac-10 Championship, the highest finish ever for a Cougar freshman...along with Ryan Camp, combined to give WSU the 20th-ranked freshman class in the nation, according to GolfStat...74.9 stroke average during his freshman season.

Sophomore (2001-02): Recorded eight top 25 finishes including four top 10 efforts...carded 13 rounds of par or better...captured first career win at the Inland Collegiate Challenge in February...followed up victory with a tie for ninth place at Coastal Carolina Invitational...fired a career-best 68 in the final round of Bearkat Classic to finish in a tie for sixth...carded an opening round 69 en route to a 10th place finish at Wolf Pack Classic...tied for 18th at Vandal Fall Classic and Husky Invitational.

Junior (2002-2003): Posted two top 25 efforts in the fall season...fired a second round 69 en route to a 11th place finish at the Vandal Classic...tied for 16th at the fall season-ending Turtle Bay Collegiate...tied for 13th at Inland Collegiate...tied for 15th at U.S. Intercollegiate after posting and carding rounds of 70-71-72 for an even-par total of 213.

Senior (Fall 2003): Posted a sixth place finish by firing all three rounds under par with a 69-71-71 at the Northwest Collegiate Classic Sept. 25-26...finished in a tie for 16th at the Ernest F. Lied Wolf Pack Classic by firing a 2-under 214...sits in fourth place all-time for career Top 10 and Top 25 finishes at WSU with eight Top 10's and 19 Top 25's.

PERSONAL: Born July 10, 1982 in Enumclaw, Wash....parents Evan and Donna Woods...Evan graduated from Washington State in 1956 and is now a dentist...has three sisters, Chelsea, Patia, and Cara, and one brother, Tony...sisters Patia and Cara attended WSU...enjoys skiing...earned a 3.9 high school GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout.
