SENIOR (2002-03): Competed in 13 events for the Cougars, including the Pac-10 Championships...earned All-Pacific-10 Conference honorable mention honors...won the Turtle Bay Collegiate as an individual, and matched his season-low single-round mark of 67 in the third round of the tournament...also shot a 67 in the second round of the Wolf Pack Classic...tallied seven top 25 finishes, including five top-10s...to open the season, he finished tied for fourth in the Badger Invitational, and followed that with consecutive fifth-place finishes in the Vandal Classic and Wolf Pack Classic...scoring average of 73.24 led the team for the season...career scoring average of 74.23 ranked 10th on WSU's all-time list when he left school...tied for 42nd in the Pac-10 Championships with a four-round score of 307 (19-over)...career totals of 17 top-10s and 27 top-25s ranked first and second respectively on WSU's all-time lists at the end of his career.
JUNIOR (2001-02): Named to the Pac-10 first team... posted a single-season school record eight top 10 finishes...ended year with a 72.0 scoring average... ranked as high as 12th by Golfstat...carded 20 rounds of par or better including 10 in the 60s...captured College Player of the Week honors by Golfworld for the March 15 issue of the magazine...earned the national honor by virtue of a seven-shot victory at the Coastal Carolina Invitational, March 5...posted rounds of 68-69-67 - 204 (-12) en route to recording his first career win...bested a field that featured six golfers in the top 50 by Golfstat...followed up win with a fourth place finish at Bearkat Classic and a seventh place effort at the Duck Invitational...began spring season with five consecutive top 12 finishes...finished in the top 25 in every tournament during the fall and posted four top six finishes...secured a second place finish at Vandal Fall Classic with an eight-under par total of 205...finished in fifth at Northwest Intercollegiate and Pacific Invitational...buoyed by an opening round 67, posted a sixth place effort at Wolf Pack Classic...led team with 70.9 scoring average in the fall.
SOPHOMORE (2000-01): Began a spectacular sophomore campaign by tying the school record with a 65 at the Northwest Classic and tying for seventh...carded rounds of 75 and 74 to finish in a tie for 14th at the Wolf Pack Classic...placed third after a 72 at the Inland Collegiate Challenge, helping WSU to their third-straight win in that event... Shot a 225 to finish in a tied for 10th at the Sacramento State Invitational...followed that up by tying for 14th at the Dr. Pepper Invitational...fired a 69, and an even 213 for the tournament, at the Shocker Classic to finish in a tie for 11th...made what could be a break-out performance at the Pac-10 Championship by firing a second round 66 and a fourth round 68 to tie for ninth...was second on the team with a 74.0 stroke average.
FRESHMAN (1999-2000): Made collegiate debut at the fall 1999 Rocky Mountain Invitational and carded a 72 in the second round...fired a three round 223 and placed 12th at the Husky Invitational, a career-best finish...helped WSU win second consecutive Inland Collegiate Challenge with a 15th place finish...fired a career-low 70 in the third round of the Pac-10 Championship and ended the tournament three-over par in 30th place.
Four-time varsity letterman in golf for head coach Dave Shaub...team captain 1996 through 1999...four-time South Central All-League selection...placed 19th at the state tournament as a sophomore...five tournament wins during junior season, capped off by a seventh place finish at the Colorado State Golf Championship...five tournament wins in senior season, placed second at Colorado State Golf Championship...member of All-State golf team junior and season seasons...member of All-American golf team as a senior.
