Position: Assistant Coach
Experience: 3 Years
Phone: 509-592-8899

After spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Idaho, Adriana Quirke made the move to Pullman shortly after Tom Jager was hired as the Cougars' head coach.

With the help of Quirke, the team earned Team Scholar All-America status in 2013-14 and the fall of 2011 from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). In addition, five individual swimmers received the CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America Award in 2013-14. Since Quirke joined the staff, the Cougars have boasted 28 Pac-12 All-Academic honors, including eight Pac-12 Conference All-Academic First Team members.

Quirke and Jager have been together since 2004 when she was part of his initial recruiting class at Idaho when the Vandals reinstated their program. She joined Idaho after spending one season at San Diego State.

As a Vandal swimmer, Quirke set the school record in the 200 individual medley and held 13 top 10 spots all-time at Idaho, spanning four events.

She won the team's Vandal Zone Award as a senior. The only award given out by Idaho, it is presented to the student-athlete who performs well in the pool, has a positive impact on the team, does well in school, and conducts herself well in everyday life.

She graduated from Idaho with a bachelor's degree in sports science and made and immediate transition to full-time assistant coach in 2008.
