VOLLEYBALL HOSTING ARIZONA AND NO. 5 WASHINGTON
The Washington State University volleyball team (12-18, 2-16 Pac-12), will wrap up the 2012 season with a pair of matches at home...Cougars host Arizona (16-13, 8-10 Pac-12) Wed., Nov. 21 which is Senior Night for WSU, honoring Megan McManus and Rachel Todorovich pre-game...after the 12:30 Apple Cup football game at Martin Stadium, Cougars host No. 5 Washington (22-5, 13-5 Pac-12) Fri., Nov. 23...both matches start at 8 p.m. in Bohler Gym and both matches will be broadcast on the Pac-12 TV Networks.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF
Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny (24-38 at WSU, 2nd year; 136-62 in career, 6th year)...during her first season Greeny's team doubled the total number of wins from the previous season, including four more wins in the elite Pac-12 Conference action...Meagan Ganzer became the first Cougar to be named to All-Pac-12 and All-Pacific Region teams since 2002, and All-American, the fourth in WSU history and the first since 1996....assistant coaches Pat Stangle (former head coach at Wyoming, former asst. coach at Washington) and Burdette Greeny (former asst. coach at LCSC)...Katie Hinrichs, coordinator of operations (former player at LCSC)...volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt was the first WSU player to reach 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

COUGAR VOLLEYBALL CLASS OF 2013 ANNOUNCED
Six exceptional high school senior volleyball players will play at Washington State next season, Cougar Head Coach Jen Greeny announced Nov. 14...Cougar volleyball class of 2013 includes:
Emmy Allen, a 6-2 outside hitter from Mill Creek, Wash. - One of 24 seniors nationally named to the 2012 Under Armour High School All-America First Team...led Jackson HS team to third place at 2012 state 4A championships after winning a title in 2010, plus eighth and fourth place finishes.
Hailey Bethune, a 6-0 outside hitter from Stockton, Calif. - named a PrepVolleyball.com Senior Ace...her 5.5 kills per set led Lincoln HS to an undefeated 2012 season and the San Joaquin Athletic Association championship, the third title in four years.
Taylor Ellingsen, a 5-7 defensive specialist from Spokane, Wash. - Mead HS won three Greater Spokane League championships and competed in three 4A state tournaments was a runner-up finish in 2012, and third place in 2010...Valedictorian of the 440 students in Mead Class of 2013.
Kyra Holt (pronounced kai-rah), a 6-1 outside hitter from Hercules, Calif. - named to the 2012 Under Armour High School national All-America honorable mention team...named a PrepVolleyball.com Senior Ace...one of 15 players selected to the USAV Junior National All-Tournament Team...three-time MVP of the Bay Shore Athletic League and led Albany HS to two BSAL titles.is a two-time East Bay Sports Player of the Year.
Haley MacDonald, a 5-11 setter from Bothell, Wash. - named to the 2012 Under Armour High School national All-America honorable mention team...led Jackson HS team to third place at 2012 state 4A championships after winning a title in 2010, plus eighth and fourth place finishes.
Tani Stephens, a 5-7 defensive specialist from Albany, Ore. - led West Albany HS to 2012 Oregon 5A state championships after being runners-up in 2011, and third and fourth place her freshman and sophomore years...named co-MVP of 2011 and 2012 state championship matches as well as being named to the All-State Tournament first team twice and the second team once.
