Klay Thompson had a team-high 22 points and scored over 20 points for the seventh time this season...he's done it in seven of WSU's eight games...he also scored double figures in both halves for the seventh time this season (10-first, 12-second)....he's scored in double figures in 14 of the 16 halves this season.
WSU dropped to 2-3 all-time against Kansas State and 1-2 in the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series.
The Cougars had a season-high 16 first-half turnovers.
WSU went nearly eight minutes between field goals in the first half (15:50-8:08).
WSU got 17 of its 29 first-half points at the free throw line...shot just .261 (6-for-23) in the first period of play...it got 28 of its 69 total points at the free throw line.
