Has this year's team exceeded your expectations?

"No. We definitely have earned what we have gotten this point. We ran hills, we worked hard. It's not a shock. It is a result of our hard work. We've earned it."

Who is the funniest guy on the team?

"We have a bunch of comedians. It's always fun. The whole team is pretty much funny. When we are all together in the locker room, everyone is joking about something."

Who would you say is the team leader?

"I'd say there is more than one. You can pick any of the upper classmen, the ones who have been here the longest. Along with me, Robbie (Cowgill), Daven (Harmeling) and Kyle (Weaver).

How do you define your role on the team?

"My role is to look to get my shot, to create for my teammates and to set the tone of things. If I am scoring, that's good. If I am not, then drive and dish to get other people hot."

How have you adjusted to your new position this season?

"Last year, I was primarily the point guard, running the offense, then looking to get my shot. This year, I've been switched to the off guard more with the occasional point guard. This year, I come off screens more and hunt my shot. I look to be more of a scorer."

Who is the most improved player from last season to this season on the team?

"I don't know if improved is the word, but I'd say Daven (Harmeling) with all the adversity he had. To go through surgery on his shoulder and have the role he has on our team, hitting big shots, is pretty impressive to me."
