WASHINGTON STATE NOTES

  • Stanford made its first field goal of the game at the 12:50 mark in the first half...WSU opened with a 9-0 run in the first four and a half minutes of the game.

  • Fewest first half points allowed by WSU this season is 12 vs. North Carolina A&T (Dec. 28)...fewest in Pac-10 play is 19 against USC (Feb. 9).

  • Chris Henry's appearance in the first half of Saturday's game at Stanford marked the first time this season he has appeared in consecutive games (played eight minutes at California).

  • Derrick Low scored in double-figures for the seventh consecutive game...he finished with 14 points....Low's 14 first-half points are his second-most first period points of the season and the most in Pac-10 play (had 16 at Idaho State).

  • Low did not score in the second half for the first time this season.

  • Counting today's game, the Cougars have led Stanford at halftime in the last five games...WSU is 1-4 in those games.

  • After missing WSU's game at Cal Thursday with a sprained ankle, Daven Harmeling played three minutes.

  • Stanford grabbed its first lead of the game at 3:35-minute mark (52-51)...first tie of game since 0-0 came at 4:01 (51-51).

  • WSU is 15-2 when leading at halftime, it's only losses when leading at the half are to Stanford (Feb. 2 and March 1).

  • Low played all 20 minutes in the first half for the first time this season...Rochestie played all 20 first-half minutes for the second time this season (also against Air Force).
