SEATTLE - Fourth-year Washington State University Head Men's Basketball Coach Ken Bonewill take part in a Seattle Times live online chat today, Thursday, Dec. 20, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
The Cougars take on Buffalo in the Eighth Annual Cougar Hardwood Classic, Friday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Seattle's KeyArena. WSU is 7-0 all-time in the Cougar Hardwood Classic and 2-0 against Buffalo.
Last season, Bone led his team to the championship round of the College Basketball Invitational, before falling to Pittsburgh in the three-game series. Prior to joining WSU, he spent four years as head coach at Portland State, leading the Vikings to back-to-back NCAA tourney appearances.
From 2002-05, Bone was an assistant coach at Washington under Lorenzo Romar and helped the Huskies reach the NCAA tourney in 2004 and 2005. He also coached 12 seasons at Seattle Pacific University, his alma mater, and registered a 253-97 record with the Falcons.
