WASHINGTON STATE POSTGAME NOTES

  • Washington State won for the 25th time this season, tied for the second most in school history...Cougars won 26 games in 1940-41 and 25 in 1916-17.

  • First five-game winning streak for Washington State against Washington since a six-game stretch over the 1940-41 and 1941-42 seasons.

  • First time WSU has defeated Washington three times since 1949-50.

  • The Cougars won for the 13th time away from Pullman this season...most since 13 wins away from Pullman in 1924-25.

  • WSU improved to 9-1 when trailing at half.

  • The Cougars were 13-for-16 at the foul line in the final 5:43...scored on their final 10 possessions after the game was tied at 56.

  • WSU's Taylor Rochestie scored 20 points for the second straight game...Santa Barbara, Calif., native tallied a season-high 21 points in last Saturday's 88-86 double-overtime win over USC in Pullman.
