FINAL ROAD TRIP OF SEASON FOR COUGAR VOLLEYBALL
The Washington State University volleyball team (12-14, 2-12 Pac-12) is riding a two-match win-streak; the first weekend sweep in conference action since 2009...Cougars have a second consecutive week of mid-week matches...these are the final road matches for WSU this season...Cougars play at No. 1 Stanford (22-2, 14-0) Wed., Nov. 7 at Maples Pavilion (7 p.m.) - 17 days after taking the Cardinal to five sets in Pullman...match will be Live Streamed on Pac-12.com...WSU is at California (13-11, 7-7) Thurs., Nov. 8 at Haas Pavilion (6 p.m.) for a match broadcast live on the Pac-12 TV Networks.

COUGAR COACHING STAFF
Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny (24-34 at WSU, 2nd year; 136-58 in career, 6th year)...during her first season Greeny's team doubled the total number of wins from the previous season, including four more wins in the elite Pac-12 Conference action...Meagan Ganzer became the first Cougar to be named to All-Pac-12 and All-Pacific Region teams since 2002, and All-American, the fourth in WSU history and the first since 1996....assistant coaches Pat Stangle (former head coach at Wyoming, former asst. coach at Washington) and Burdette Greeny (former asst. coach at LCSC)...Katie Hinrichs, coordinator of operations (former player at LCSC)...volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt was the first WSU player to reach 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.

LAST WEEK
The Cougars won back-to-back Pac-12 Conference matches...WSU defeated Colorado Oct. 31 in scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-19...Cougar leaders were: Ver'Leea Hardaway (15 kills, 0 errors, .577, 5 blocks), Marcelina Glab (11 kills, .562, 3 blocks), Stephanie Logan (8 kills, .500, 4 blocks), and Kate Sommer (19 digs)...WSU committed only 8 attack errors in the Colorado match in 103 attacks for a .359 hitting percentage...Nov. 2 WSU defeated Utah 10-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23, 16-14...Cougar leaders were Jaicee Harris (17 kills), Rachel Todorovich (12 kills, 5 blocks), Camryn Irwin (5 kills, .625, 37 assists, 3 aces, 15 digs, 3 blocks)...Utah committed 15 service errors in the match.

DID YOU KNOW...
WSU's 8 attack errors in the 3-0 win over Colorado 10/31 is the lowest team errors total in Pac-12 action for WSU this season, and the lowest number for WSU in conference matches since Oct. 14, 1995 when WSU committed 5 errors in the 3-0 defeat of Oregon (15-4, 15-4, 15-9) in Eugene...WSU has tallied under 10 errors in three matches this season: vs. Alabama State (5), vs. Seattle Univ. (7), and vs. Colorado (8)...before the 2012 season, the last time was Sept. 1, 2000, when WSU committed 5 errors in a 3-0 win (15-0, 15-5, 15-0) win over Rhode Island.

Cougar volleyball fans can listen to all the road contests during the 2012 season LIVE in the Palouse on KQQQ-AM radio (1150 AM)...veteran area broadcaster Steve Grubbs is the voice of Cougar volleyball for the seventh season...road matches are also available on the internet by purchasing a subscription through Cougar All-Access at wsucougars.com.

LOOKING AHEAD
NCAA National Letters of Intent signing day for volleyball is Nov. 14...this is the first entire class of recruits signed out of high school by Head Coach Jen Greeny and the WSU Volleyball coaching staff...watch for the bios and photos of the new players coming to WSU in 2013 at the official website, www.wsucougars.com.

COUGS WAVE PINK FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
The Pink Jerseys worn by the WSU players for the Oct. 19 Cougs Wave Pink match were auctioned and $1000 will be donated to the Breast Cancer Support Group of the Palouse, known as the Bosom Buddies.
