COUGAR VOLLEYBALL GETS "TREAT" WITH HOME MATCHESbr> The Washington State University volleyball team (10-14, 0-12 Pac-12) will have a brief turnaround after coming off the road Sunday, hosting Colorado (14-10, 4-8) Wed., Oct. 31, and Utah (12-13, 3-9) Fri., Nov. 2...both matches begin at 7 p.m. in Bohler Gym...the WSU vs. Colorado match will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 TV Networks.

COUGS WAVE PINK FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESSbr> The Official Pink Uniform Jerseys worn by the WSU players for the Oct. 19 Cougs Wave Pink match can be purchased online...bidding ends Oct. 31, 2012 at Noon...minimum bid per jersey is $30 with all proceeds, after the cost of the uniform, to be donated to the Breast Cancer Support Group of the Palouse, known as the Bosom Buddies...bidders choose the uniform jersey number desired and contact the Cougar Volleyball office at (509) 335-7169 or email to make the bid...instructions are on the Volleyball page at, click on BID PINK rotating box.

COUGAR COACHING STAFFbr> Head Coach Jen Stinson Greeny (22-34 at WSU, 2nd year; 134-58 in career, 6th year)...during her first season Greeny's team doubled the total number of wins from the previous season, including four more wins in the elite Pac-12 Conference action...Meagan Ganzer became the first Cougar to be named to All-Pac-12 and All-Pacific Region teams since 2002, and All-American, the fourth in WSU history and the first since 1996....assistant coaches Pat Stangle (former head coach at Wyoming, former asst. coach at Washington) and Burdette Greeny (former asst. coach at LCSC)...Katie Hinrichs, coordinator of operations (former player at LCSC)...volunteer coach Shannon Wyckoff Hunt was the first WSU player to reach 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career.
