GENERAL: Was a three-year letterwinner in football and baseball… coached by Elton Goodwin on the baseball diamond where he was a pitcher/outfielder, and on the gridiron as a running back/cornerback by Dennis Sigurdson... SOPHOMORE: played varsity baseball… second-team all-Narrows League kicker in football... JUNIOR: first-team all-Narrows League selection as a pitcher in baseball… repeated as a second-team selection as a kicker… SENIOR: Named MVP of the Narrows League… first-team pitcher with a 9-0 record and a 2.20 ERA… team finished fifth in state, losing to Columbia River in regional final at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma… hit .440 at the plate with six home runs and 30 RBI… named all-State, all-area, and selection to play in the Washington-Oregon All-Star game… played for Olympia Pepsi in summer of 1999.
