GENERAL: A two sport athlete...earned three varsity letters in baseball playing shortstop and second base for coach Nick Garritano...also lettered once in cross country...SENIOR (2000) season he earned "Most Improved Player" award in baseball.

BURRESS' CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE CAREER

FRESHMAN (2000-2001): Redshirt season on head coach Clint Myers' team.

BURRESS' BENEDICTINE COLLEGE CAREER

RS-FRESHMAN (2001-02): Played shortstop, centerfield and was a relief pitcher for head coach Dan Griggs...hit .314...21-for-23 in stolen bases and three-for three stealing home...team finished 37-16.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2002-03): Went 34 for 96 at the plate, boasting a .354 BA...had 14 walks and six strikeouts...on the mound he was 3-1, with 10 saves...pitched 22.2 innings giving up three runs, two earned...allowed five walks and struck out 16, finishing with a0.83 ERA...earned first team all-conference accolades as a relief pitcher, honorable mention all-conference as a centerfielder and was a team captain both years at Benedictine...team finished 35-12.
