FARRAR`S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

GENERAL: Played second base for two varsity seasons under the direction of coach Allen Long...JUNIOR: Earned team MVP honors, won the team Golden Glove Award and was area Newcomer of the Year...all-district first team pick and all-area second team pick...SENIOR (1998-99): Named to the all-district and all-area first team and was named the team's MVP winner.

FARRAR`S HILL JC CAREER

FRESHMAN (1999-00): Played for two years at Hill JC for coach Gary Benton, converting from the infield to the outfield, where he played in left field...selected to the all-conference first team and the all-region second team...hit .389 with 15 home runs and 21 doubles...stole 19 bases and drove home 52 runs.

SOPHOMORE (2000-01): Batted .380 with 11 home runs and 24 doubles, also had 19 stolen bases.

FARRAR'S WSU CAREER

JUNIOR (2001-02): Enrolled in August...suffered season-ending knee injury during first series of the season at CS-Northridge.

RS-JUNIOR (2002-03): V-letter...Games - 42...Starts - 38...BA - .279...team leader in stolen bases (8-11)... second in home runs (8) and slugging percentage (.494), third in doubles (9), fourth in at-bats (154), runs (32) and RBI (27) and fifth in hits (43)...had four four-game hitting streaks and closed out the year with a three-game streak...during a four-game hitting streak against Stanford, Gonzaga and Oregon State, he went 6-for-15 (.400) in mid-April...his next four-game streak was against Arizona and LCSC in mid-April when he was 5-for-15 (.333)...then he was 6-for-18 (.333) against Gonzaga and Washington in four straight games...best games included a 4-for-5 outing at Gonzaga in early April, with three RBI, two runs scored, a double and a home run...in late March went 4-for-5 at California with two doubles and an RBI...hit 2-for-4 at Oregon State, in mid-April, with three runs scored and a double...had four hits twice, three hits in two other games and two hits in six games, giving him 10 multiple-hit games...had eight multiple RBI games, including three runs at Gonzaga in early April and at USC...hit .349 against left handed pitchers, .600 with the bases loaded and .306 with two out...reached base .422 percent of the time when leading off an inning...success rate advancing runners was .488 percent...here's how he hit against Pac-10 opponents: Arizona .286 (4/14), ASU .000 (0/9), California .444 (4/9), OSU .308 (4/13), Stanford .154 (2/13), UCLA .455 (5/11), USC .214 (3/14) Washington .200 (4/20)...his monthly hitting averages: February .dnp, March .227 (10/44), April .290 (18/62), May .312 (15/48).
