PULLMAN, Wash. — The Washington State University tennis team will host its ninth annual free clinic Wednesday Feb. 5, in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
The team and coaching staff, coming off two wins last weekend against Montana and Minnesota, encourage females of all ages and skill levels to participate in a fun event. The clinic will be held at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Racquets and balls will be provided for participants.
“This is an event that everyone on the team enjoys hosting,” said Washington State Head Coach Lisa Hart. “To get the community involved in all sports, especially tennis, and hopefully to have our student-athletes serve as role model for girls of all ages is something we take great pride in.”
