SENIOR (2003-04): Competed in 13 events for the Cougars, including the Pac-10 Championships...tallied six top-25 finishes and two top-10s...opened the fall season with a Top 10 finish by tying for ninth at the Mean Green Invitational...opened the spring season with a tournament victory at the Inland Collegiate...shot his season-low single-round score in the same tournament (68)...season scoring average of 73.9 led the team...left WSU at fourth place on the school's all-time list for top-25 finishes, with 20.
JUNIOR (2002-03): Earned an All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention selection...tied a school record with a 65 in the second round of the Badger Invitational, Sept. 7...tied for ninth at the Vandal Classic...tied for 10th at the Turtle Bay Collegiate...scoring average of 73.6 was the second best on the team during the fall...tied for 14th at the Duck Invitational...fired a final round 66 at the Border Olympics to finish in a tie for 11th...tied for 32nd at Pac-10 Championships.
SOPHOMORE (2001-02): Competed in all 14 events during season...posted a career-best seventh place effort at the Husky Invitational in October...recorded another top 10 finish by placing in a tie for eighth at Wolf Pack Classic the following week ...recorded three other top 20 finishes (Vandal Fall Classic, Aztec Invitational, Duck Invitational)...posted a career best 66 in opening round of Aztec Invitational securing the lowest first round score in the 85-man field...tied for 19th at the Duck Invitational playing the final 36 holes in 3-under...recorded 13 rounds of par or better.
FRESHMAN (2000-01): Made collegiate debut at the Northwest Classic in September, firing a 73 in the first round...logged his first top 25 finish at the Husky Invitational...caught fire late in the spring beginning with a tie for 23rd and a season-best 70 in the second round at the Oregon Duck Invitational...carded a 71 in the second round of the Pac-10 Championship, helping the Cougars to their best finish since 1991...part of a freshman class that was ranked 20th in the nation by Golfstat...75.8 stroke average during his rookie campaign.
Four-time letter winner for head coach Clarence Hough at Ferris... team captain in 2000...finished in the top 10 at the Washington 4A Golf Championship three times, including a fourth place showing as a freshman...member of three Greater Spokane League championship teams...after a second place team finish at the 4A Championship in 1998, Ferris captured the district and state titles in 1999...twice was named to the Greater Spokane League's first team...an accomplished junior circuit player, finished fourth at the Washington Junior Golf Association's State Tournament in 1997, third in 1998, and was named WJGA Player of the Year in 1999...qualified for Junior Worlds in 1997 and 1999 and was a member of Washington's winning JAC team.
Ryan Christopher Camp, born April 14, 1982 in Spokane... parents Chris and Janet Camp... two sisters, Megan and Shannon...father, Chris, was a standout pitcher for the 1976 WSU baseball team that finished fifth at the College World Series...comes from a long line of Cougars...both parents, three uncles, four aunts, both grandmothers, one grandfather, two cousins and the great grandmother and grandfather on his mother's side all attended WSU...enjoys skiing and wakeboarding.
