PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State men's golf team is headed to Bremerton, Wash., to play in the 2004 Opus Northwest Husky Invitational hosted by the University of Washington, Sept. 27-28.
The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,037-yard Olympic Course at Gold Mountain. The Olympic Course will also play host to the 2006 USGA Public Links Championship.
The field includes three teams ranked in the Golfweek top-20: Brigham Young, Southern California and Washington. Also playing are Coastal Carolina, Minnesota, Oregon State, San Diego State, UC Davis, and UC Irvine.
The format is a two-day, 54-hole 6-man event counting the low five. 36 holes will be played Monday, and the final 18 will be played Tuesday. The tournament is scheduled to begin each day at 7:30 a.m.

The Cougars are also sending players to the Idaho Fall Classic Sept. 26-27, and the Lady Vandal Fall Invite Sept. 24-25.
