ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Washington State senior Jon Reehoorn completed his collegiate career with a 34th place finish at the NCAA West Regional at the par 72, 7,368 yard University of New Mexico Championship Course, Saturday.

Reehoorn, who entered the day tied for 13th in the 140-player field, shot a final round 76 to complete the 54-hole regional at five over par 221. The senior from Burlington, Wash. moved to even par with a birdie on the first hole but could not sustain the momentum throughout the course of the round.

Senior Jeremy Taylor and junior Dustin White each turned in a 77 as the pair finished the regional at 227 (+11). Sophomore Isaac Woods shot a 76 to finish at 229 (+13) and sophomore Ryan Camp turned in the best performance of the day for the Cougars with an even par 72. Camp finished at 235 (+19).

The Cougars shot 301 on the final day to finish 19th in the 27-team regional field at 899. New Mexico and Washington headed the team competition with a score of 872. Arizona's Ricky Barnes and Minnesota's Justin Smith tied for individual medalist honors with a score of 210 (-6).

The top 10 teams in the 27-team regional and two individuals (from teams that do not qualify) advanced to the national championships, May 29-June 1, at Ohio State University's Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
