FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Washington State men’s golf student-athlete Sang Lee will join teammate Michael Anderson at the Pacific Coast Amateur being held place July 22-25, 2014 at Pine Canyon Club. The tournament will be a 72-hole event that will play at par-72 and 7,272 yards.
Lee, a native of Calgary, Alberta, is taking part in his first Pacific Coast Amateur. He will be a redshirt-senior for Washington State in 2014-15.
In his Cougar career, Lee has earned nine top 10 finishes, including a pair in the top five. He carded a school record round of 63 during the 2012-13 season.
The Pacific Coast Amateur field consists of 87 golfers representing six countries. The current tournament’s history dates back to 1967, but its roots date back to 1901 making it one of the oldest amateur golf events in American history.
