WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Senior Blake Snyder of the Washington State University men’s golf team was named an All-Pac-12 honorable mention, the Pac-12 Conference announced Monday. Snyder is the first Cougar to garner conference honors since Kevin Tucker was named to the All-Pac-10 Second Team in 2010.

A native of Seattle, Snyder's senior campaign was highlighted by four top-5 finishes, including a tie for first place at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate, Sept. 9-10. His fourth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, April 25-27, marked the best finish by a Cougar at a conference tournament in program history.

"While Blake was only at WSU for two years, he made a huge impact on our team,” Cougar Head Coach Garrett Clegg said. “Being an All-Pac-12 performer is a tremendous accomplishment for him.”

Snyder concluded his collegiate career with a 73.35 per round average, having played 72 rounds in his two years at WSU. His time in crimson and gray is capped by four top-5 finishes, six top-10 finishes, and a dozen top-25 finishes in 24 tournament appearances.

Snyder is scheduled to graduate this May with a degree in Humanities. He will be competing in the PGA TOUR Canada Qualifying Tournament, May 5-9, in Courtenay, British Columbia.

All Pac-12 golf awards are selected through voting by the member institution's head golf coaches.
