LOS ANGELES - In the first two rounds of the men's golf Pac-12 Championships, the Washington State University men shot 55-over and were in 12th place.

Michael Anderson led the way for the Cougars in the first day of the competition. Anderson carded scores of 69 and 74 in the first and second rounds, respectively. He finished the day tied for 14th place at 3-over.

No. 1 California leads the tournament after the first two rounds. California was the only team under par after day one (-5). Max Homa of California leads the tournament individually. Homa shot a 61 in the first round, and followed it with a 70 to finish the day at 9-under.

The third round of the Pac-12 Championships will be played Tuesday at the Los Angeles Country Club. Tee times will begin at 8 a.m. off holes 1 and 10.
