COUGARS DIVIDE BETWEEN STANFORD RELAYS & WHITWORTH MEET
Members of the Washington State track and field teams will be competing in Stanford, Calif., and Spokane this weekend...a total of 40 Cougars will compete at the 40th Annual Stanford Invitational, Friday and Saturday, April 4-5, at Cobb Track and Angell Field on the Stanford campus...distance races and steeplechase races will take place Friday night...Live stats from the Stanford Invite will be available at http://www.rtspt.com/events/stanford/invite2014/...30 Cougars will compete at the 9th Annual Sam Adams Classic meet Saturday, April 5, at the Pine Bowl on the Whitworth University campus in Spokane...field events begin at 9:30 a.m. with running events set to start at 10:15 a.m...results will be posted at www.wsucougars.com at the meets’ conclusion.

ABOUT  THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 41st season with the Cougar track program; 20th year as a head coach, 19th year as mentor to the combined men’s and women’s program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws) and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays), Matt McGee (jumps) and cross country coach Tim Riley (distance)…volunteers include Caroline Austin (distance), Veronica Elseroad-Wall (hurdles), Oliver Henry (throws), and Emma Kertesz (distance).

WSU TRACK & FIELD REUNION MAY 16-18
All Washington State University track and field former student-athletes are invited to a commemorative reunion and celebration in honor of Head Coach Rick Sloan’s 40 years with the Cougars program. The Reunion and Celebration will be held in conjunction with WSU hosting the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships at the Mooberry Track Complex May 16-18, 2014. WSU HOSTS 2014  PAC-12 TRACK & FIELD OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Washington State University hosts the 29th Annual Women’s and 84th Annual Men’s Pac-12 Conference Track and Field Championships at the Mooberry Track Complex in Pullman. The Combined Events Championships are Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, while the individual events and team scoring continues the next weekend, May 17 and 18. More information about the conference meet can be found at wsucougars.com. The meet will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks on a tape-delayed basis the following week.
