Seven Cougars Earn All-Academic Swimming Honors

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Sophomore Melissa Bogert was named to the 2010 Pacific-10 Conference Women's Swimming All-Academic First Team Monday. The Juneau, Alaska native is a mechanical engineering major and has 3.74 cumulative grade point average.

A pair of juniors received second team honors in Jennifer Dean and Talor Whitaker. Dean, a political science major, currently has 3.40 G.P.A while Whitaker has a 3.48 G.P.A in her pursuit of a communication degree.

Senior Michaela Ahlin as well as sophomores Jessie Craig, Andrea Emde and Rachael Krager earned an honorable mention.
