THIS WEEK: Washington State hosts Gonzaga, Friday, Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. and Idaho, Sunday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m.

COUGARS AT HOME: Washington State is 12-4-5 at home against nonconference opponents under head coach Matt Potter.

WSU AGAINST THE STATE: During Matt Potter's tenure, the Cougars are 6-1-1 against schools from the Evergreen State...lone loss came at No. 22 Washington (2-0), Oct. 24, 2003...Cougars are undefeated in their last seven...all-time, WSU is 49-6-1 against schools from Washington (other than the Huskies' varsity) and is undefeated in its last 36...last loss was 2-1 at Central Washington, Oct. 9, 1990.

SERIES WITH THE BULLDOGS: Washington State is unbeaten in 17 meetings with 16 wins and one tie...Cougars are 8-0-1 in Pullman and and have outscored the Bulldogs 49-2 in those matches...WSU set a school record for goals in a match with a 15-0 win, Oct. 30, 1991.

ABOUT GONZAGA: The Bulldogs are 4-5-0, including a 1-2-0 mark on the road...have not scored in their last three matches, all losses..Sheridan Jones leads Gonzaga with two goals and five points.

SERIES WITH THE VANDALS: Washington State has won four of the previous five meetings...Cougars are 2-0-0 at home with 2-0 wins in 2002 and 2006.

ABOUT THE VANDALS: Idaho is 1-6-1 and travels to Eastern Washington prior to its meeting with the Cougars...Vandals are 0-3-1 away from home, including an overtime loss, a double-overtime setback, and a double-overtime tie...Nicole McAllister leads Idaho with three goals and six points.

THE POTTER EFFECT: Prior to Matt Potter's arrival in Pullman, the Cougars posted three winning records in eight seasons as a member of the Pacific-10 Conference...under Potter, WSU has produced four winning records in five seasons.

DALLSTREAM NAMED TO U-20 SQUAD: Cougar junior Kiersten Dallstream has been named to the United State Under-20 National Team that will compete at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile, Nov. 19-Dec. 7...Dallstream ranks sixth in Cougar history with 16 goals and seventh with 40 points.

VAN LEER BREAKS OUT: Junior Elysse Van Leer tallied the game-winner at No. 21 UC Santa Barbara, Sept. 12 in Washington State's 3-2 victory...second goal of the season and first game-winner of Van Leer's career...entered the season with one goal in 32 career matches.

GET YOUR NAME IN THE BOX SCORE: Sophomore Emma Stolz and freshman Ali Fenter each tallied the first goal of their collegiate career in Washington State's 2-2 double-overtime tie at James Madison, Aug. 29...freshman Megan Chapin notched her first-collegiate point with an assist in the opener against Montana.
