PULLMAN, Wash - Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsey Jorgensen (North Bend, Wash.) was selected to the 1999-2000 GTE Academic All-American Third Team for the Women's University Division At-Large for Fall-Winter Thursday.

Jorgensen was one of only four sophomores to make the 46-member list of female student-athletes. She was also one of only 16 people on the list with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

The At-Large University Division is composed of student-athletes from swimming, diving, cross country, gymnastics, field hockey, fencing, skiing and soccer.

Jorgensen is the first player from Washington State's women's soccer team to be selected to the GTE Academic All-American Team. She was previously selected to the GTE Academic All-American Team for District VIII March 23.
