THIS WEEK: Washington State travels to Notre Dame, Ind., for The Notre Dame Inn at Saint Mary's Classic...Cougars play Oklahoma State Friday, Sept. 14 at 3 p.m. PDT and Princeton Sunday, Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. PDT.

COUGARS REMAIN UNDEFEATED: Washington State improved to 2-0-1 with a 2-1 double-overtime win at Gonzaga, Sept. 7 and a 3-3 tie at home against Utah, Sept. 9...sixth time in 19-year history Cougars have been undefeated through three games...WSU was 3-0-0 in 1990, 1991, 1993, 2002 and 2005.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA STATE: The Cowgirls are 4-0-0 and ranked by Soccer America (16th nationally), Soccer Times (19th nationally), Top Drawer (26th nationally), Soccer Buzz (sixth Central Region, 28th nationally), NSCAA (fifth Central Region, 21st nationally)...have outscored their opponents 17-1 defeating New Mexico (2-1, OT), Arkansas State (3-0), Xavier (5-0) and Louisiana-Monroe (7-0).

COUGAR-COWGIRL SERIES: Friday's match will be the first meeting between Washington State and Oklahoma State.

WASHINGTON STATE AGAINST THE BIG 12: The Cougars are 1-2-0 against current members of the Big 12 Conference...have split two matches with Texas A&M, winning 2-0 in Dallas, Sept. 7, 1993 and losing 2-0 on the road, Sept. 28, 2003...lost 2-0 at Texas, Sept. 26, 2003.

ABOUT PRINCETON: The Tigers are 0-2-1 (play at Notre Dame, Friday) and have yet to score a goal in 290 minutes...lost a pair of 1-0 matches to Connecticut and Boston, respectively and played Villanova to a 0-0 draw in their home opener.

COUGARS AGAINST THE TIGERS AND THE IVY LEAGUE: Washington State has never played Princeton or any other member of the Ivy League in women's soccer.

PLAYING OUTSIDE THE WEST REGION: The matches at the Notre Dame Inn at Saint Mary's Classic this week will be the only two the Cougars play against teams outside the West Region this season.

WASHINGTON STATE RETURNS TO SITE OF NCAA TOURNAMENT GAME: The Notre Dame Inn at Saint Mary's Classic provides the Cougars a trip Notre Dame, Ind., the site of WSU's 1994 NCAA Second Round Tournament match...after upsetting No. 11 Wisconsin on the road (3-1), the No. 19 Cougars took on No. 3 William & Mary and saw their season come to an end with a 4-0 loss.

COUGARS ATTACKING THE GOAL: Washington State fired 28 shots at Utah during a 3-3 tie, Sept. 9...most shots by the Cougars since a 1-1 tie with Oregon State in Pullman, Oct. 19, 2003.

HEAD COACH Matt Potter SAYS: "Anytime you can step out of region, it presents a new challenge. We're going to be tested this weekend against two very good teams."
