CHILLAN, Chile - The United States scored three second half goals to defeat England 3-0 in a quarterfinal match at the Under-20 Women's World Cup, Sunday.
Washington State's Kiersten Dallstream was not allowed to play because the brace on her left knee was not compliant with regulations according to the match referee. Dallstream was injured in the Americans match against China, Nov. 26.
With the victory, the United States advanced to Thursday's semifinal against Germany. The Germans defeated Brazil 3-2, Monday. The match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. Pacific start in Coquimbo.
